Jak jsem uvedl minule v článku Jak na hackintosh, lze si postavit na neoriginálním hardware PC s OS X. Snadnější cestou je virtuální OS X. Což je cesta na vyzkoušení si OS X, chcete-li přejít a nechcete kupovat zajíce v pytli (já ale takto skoro naslepo koupil a rozhodně neprohloupil).

I used the iboot CD to boot up in VB and then chose the usb stick. I did make the stick using unibeast on 10.6.8 (VB) if that is any consequence. Then I ran the setup as usual. 8/28/12 9:14am, radink to Whitson Gordon

I think the only thing I chose was the boot loader so it would self boot without the CD. I also did the res tweak from the article to get it to full screen. I since deleted the VM because I really had no use for it. 8/28/12 10:57am , radink to Whitson Gordon.

Takže evidentně funguje stejný návod pro fyzické i virtuální PC. Přesto, pokud chcete zkoušet nějaké nové věci v OS X a už máte Mac, který zvládne virtualizaci, můžete OS X virtualizovat v OS X a vše je licenčně OK.
